The second quarter of 2021 saw significant activity in the art and design app category on the Android platform in Latin America. Here’s a detailed look at the performance of the top 5 apps: Canva: Design, Art & AI Editor, Adobe Express: AI Video Design, Poster Maker & flyer maker app, GoDaddy Studio: Graphic Design, and FlipaClip: Create 2D Animation.

Canva: Design, Art & AI Editor experienced robust performance throughout the quarter. Weekly revenue peaked at approximately $80K in the week of April 19, with a slight dip to around $66K by the end of June. Weekly downloads started strong at nearly 490K and reached a high of over 607K in mid-April before settling down to about 478K by the quarter's end. Active users also showed impressive numbers, beginning at around 6.9M and peaking at over 7.5M in early May, before a gradual decline to approximately 6.7M.

Adobe Express: AI Video Design showed more modest figures. Weekly revenue fluctuated slightly, peaking at about $1.9K in early May. Downloads remained steady, with weekly numbers hovering around 12K to 14K. Active users saw minor variations, starting at around 40K and ending the quarter close to 40.5K.

Poster Maker & flyer maker app had a relatively stable performance in terms of revenue, which stayed around $1.2K to $1.4K throughout the quarter. Downloads saw a downtrend from approximately 30K at the beginning of April to about 15K by the end of June. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at around 41K and decreasing to about 27K by the end of the quarter.

GoDaddy Studio: Graphic Design showed consistent revenue figures, peaking at around $1K in early May. Downloads saw significant peaks, reaching over 113K in early May and maintaining high numbers throughout. Active users showed a strong presence, starting at around 126K and peaking at over 146K by the end of May, before ending the quarter at approximately 113K.
